Travel Insurance

Yes they've allowed me to be insured, was a bit worried for a while but seems I am insurable again. Quite chuffed that I'm still considered to be a backpacker, thought for a while I might be too old to qualify but have a few years to go yet.

Was almost tempted not to bother but then I got reminded about all the lovely hospitals I visited on previous trips and decided it was a probably worthwile investment.

Ticket is finally booked, one way to Beijing after weeks of deliberation on flight combinations and hours of trawling through the advice on thorntree! I'm sure everyone is secretly relieved that its done and I can stop boring them with different route plans.

Have also got my new teeny rucksack - although not sure how im going to fit all my clothes in there - is three pairs of shoes really excessive?
